The difference between mixing...
During the mix process the individual tracks are treated with eq, compressor, reverb, delay, and other effects. When the mix is finished, it is ready for mastering....and mastering
During the mastering process, the finished stereo mix is treated with phase linear equalizers, special hardware compressors, and analogue and digital limiters to achieve a pleasant and coherent sound image and a higher relative level of loudness. Different songs in the same project are matched for sound and volume.
Furthermore, a technically objective quality is ensured so that the mastered CD may be played on a large variety of sound systems without unpleasant frequency deviations.Read more about the services we offer.
